May be sltly enlgd: The spleen is normally protected by the rib cage. Splenomegally is common with EBV. As you recover from EBV, your spleen should return to normal.

Enlarged spleen: is a common complication of EBV (Epstein Barr Virus) which causes mononucleosis ("mono"). It may take weeks for the spleen to get back to its usual size. At 13 cm, your spleen may still be slightly enlarged, but enlarged spleen is more commonly felt below rib cage. You may be feeling something else. It may be a good idea to have a doctor check this bulging you feel.

May not be EBV: Your spleen is at the upper end of normal (12-15 cm) at 13 cm. Your ribs should still be covering most of your spleen. You may need to repeat the ultrasound in several weeks or get a CT scan to figure out what the lump under your left breast is. Unless you are really thin I doubt you can feel your spleen at 13 cm.
