Change therapy: Testosterone injections are the least desirable form of treatment but the cost is less. It would be preferable to receive the hormone through the skin without use of a needle. The blood levels do not fluctuate as they do with injections.

Prescribed 1.62% testosterone gel. The instructions in the package & online say to use on shoulder/upper arms only yet the doctor stated on rx to apply to inner thigh once daily. Is this ok vs shoulders - will it work equally well? How about forearms?
