A member asked:

Are swollen lymph nodes in the neck, general aches and pains and headaches side affects of depression? + restless legs. should i seek more help?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See your doctor!: Enlargement of lymph nodes is not a known symptom of depression- usually a result of an infection in the area of body drained by the lymph node and, in some case, can be an indication of a malignancy that is beginning to spread. Lymph nodes should be palpated for hardness, tenderness, size, etc. and then a general exam for any evidence of infection (could even be from dental infection).
