Can i use lotriderm(betamethasone) to ease insect bites?

Maybe: That is a pretty potent steroid for inflammation related to insect bites. Hydrocortisone may be more appropriate as it is milder. Having said that, if there are large areas of redness and itchiness and no open or bleeding wounds, betamethasone wouldn't be harmful if used sparingly. Also 25 mg Benadryl (diphenhydramine) may help ease the reaction.
