If i have follicles in both ovaries, but only one is dominant, will hcg shot cause multiple egg ruptures or only the mature one will release egg?

Only one: as follicles grow, they develop receptors for the trigger shot. If a follicle has not grown enough, it will not respond to the trigger shot. Usually only the dominant follicle will ovulate unless multiple other follicles have been stimulated.
