Should be helpful: If your symptoms are due to UTI and didn't improve on antibiotic, repeat testing is still likely to be useful by identifying bacteria resistant to the drug. Also discuss alternate diagnoses w/ your doctor, especially STDs (gonorrhea, chlamydia, trichomonas) which can cause similar symptoms as UTI; also yeast or other vaginal infections. Many UTI antibiotics aren't effective for these.
