Follow up needed,: The test is most commonly ordered to evaluate patients for Hahimoto's thyroiditis, but can also be used as a secondary test for Graves' disease. The test results need to be evaluated in the context of your other blood work and symptoms. An elevated test result is concerning for autoimmune thyroiditis. Please follow up with your doctor.
