Maybe: If they are standing directly next to you and screaming then maybe. Teenagers also listen to music very loud for lengthy times on end See your ent and see if that doc can diagnose why this is ? May have other issues that are at play You need checked out.

Yes, can occur: Hearing loss, especially high frequency, can be due to high levels of noise such a high decibel volume of a loud jet engine. If screaming was close to ear, this too might generate enough volume to affect inner ear receptors.
