Doctor eval needed: take your son to a doctor to find out the reason for his fever. It is never a good idea to take antibiotics for an unknown reason.

Call a pediatrician: You can give child Tylenol (acetaminophen) (NOT Aspirin), lukewarm water bath and call your pediatrician to to see if you need to schedule appointment. Good luck.

M.D. visit: Since your child has a history of febrile seizures, I would recommend tylenol (acetaminophen) or motrin right away, to bring the temperature down. I would recommend seeing your pediatrician to identify the cause of the fever.
