I was told march 20th my hcg was a 12 and that its just a chemical pregnancy, so i went another dr. yesterday and hcg test is 265..lmp was 2/24.?

Early pregnancy: In a normal pregnancy the HCG doubles every 2-3 days. Your values are definitely doubling at a normal rate indicating an early pregnancy. I hope this was what you were hoping to hear. Best wishes.

You are pregnant: The blood betaHCG levels will normally double about every 40 to 50 hours in early pregnancy and your latest HCG has clearly risen to confirm that you are pregnant . You may want to repeat it once more in a week when it should be above 1000-1500 at which time a pelvic sonogram will indicate the location and later on the viability of your pregnancy.
