I was woundering i have nasal spray that expired on 11-2012 and it was a otc is it still safe for use and if not why? i read online sometimes its ok.

Lose Potency: I would definitely get an updated spray if it expired back in 2012. As medications sit over time they tend to loose their potency and are not as effective. Its not that the medication is dangerous to use, its just that it will be a waste of your time to use it because the spray won't be as effective as a new one.
