Double up meds: Often allergists give Allegra in the morning and zyrtec at bedtime in addition to taking a prescription nasal spray. Otc nasal sprays are either decongestants which should not be used for over 5 days or anti-allergy sprays, e.G cromolyn, 1 spray, each nostril, every 3-4 hr but not as effective as the prescription sprays so ultimately you should contact your md and probably need an allergy consult.
