A member asked:

Would you recommend monovision laser for a person that works all day with computers and read everyday for 30 minutes?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Contacts first: Before considering a surgical procedure for vision correction, I would recommend a trial of monovision contact lenses measured to allow the near focus for the computer monitor, and the dominant distance eye fully corrected. If you're able to tolerate this well, as long as your eyes are suitable candidates for laser vision correction, the procedure maybe right for you. You still may need glasses.
