Exercise benefits!!!: Exercise benefits stress a number of ways. Exercise is good stress! it lowers your stress hormones at rest, should be something you learn to enjoy, and is a positive distraction from worries! by all means exercise. And it will emotionally empower you! good luck!

Agree with Dr. Namey: Exercise is a great antidote to chronic stress ! to address stress: talk about feelings ; address problems. Don't avoid them. Aim for 7.5 - 8 hours of sleep/ night. Daily physical activity is optimal in a green space. Eat healthfully. Cut out junk carbs, caffeine ; alcohol (or moderate). Try qi gong, tai chi, acupuncture, acupressure, homeopathy, meditation or yoga.
