A member asked:

Is it common to sneeze just after taking a nose spray when you just start using it? i have tried them but sneeze it right back out.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sneeze: If the spray irritates your nose then a sneeze is almost impossible to suppress. Most likely you are not sneezing all the medication out. After a few doses you may be able to keep the medicine in longer. If the medicine reduces inflammation in the nose, like a nasal steroid, then the sneeze should go away. Stay with it for a week or two. Medication may help suppress the sneeze. Good luck. .
