Left and distension: it could be that you did have constipation 5 years ago and the medication helped, but you may also have some other problem causing this distension or lump. Please see your doctor, maybe a gynecologist and/or gastroenterologist. A pelvic exam is needed at the very least. If you are very thin, you might just be feeling your bowel, but further investigation is needed.
