Diverticulosis: You may have diverticulosis pouches which are a common cause of loose stools and passage of bright red blood. I assume that inflammatory colon changes were not seen, but check with your colonoscopist to see whether diverticulosis of the colon may be present even with your "normal" colonoscopy.
