A member asked:

One morning when i woke up a part of my thumb on my left hand was numb. is that normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pressure on nerve: You probably slept in such a position that the sensory nerve to the thumb was compressed and ceased to send signals. These are common, and will go away with no particular treatment, Just relieving the nerve pressure. It it persists, which is unlikely, then see your family doctor.
