Have costochondritis after bad cold. told to take 400mg ibuprofen 3x day. is it ok if i have acid reflux? how long do i take it?

Try adding: an Antacid such as Pepcid (famotidine) or Prilosec and with meals. I suggest taking it for 2-3 days only. Please see you provider if you're not better. Get well.
