Menses/Pregnancy: Some women do have some bleeding at the start of a normal pregnancy that the assume was a period. This bleeding may be different than their usual periods but may not be. However, the majority of the time when bleeding occurs at the regular time for a period it is a period. Bleeding and amount of clotting can and does change from month to month, if you wonder about pregnancy take a home test.
