Possibly,,,: Walnuts are high in cholesterol, but that can help lower a cholesterol level because they can promote less receptors in the body for cholesterol intake since walnuts have a lot of it. As the body will get plenty of cholesterol from walnuts, etc., it will not need more and will try to remove cholesterol by excreting it. That way, the cholesterol level in the blood can be lowered. Yes. Eat low carb: Consuming high amounts of carbs lowers HDL (good cholestero) and increases bad cholesterol, Triglycerides (TG). Consuming healthy fat, protein, and vegetables increases HDL, decreases TG. Avoid grains, lentils, milk products because they all cause elevated cholesterol.
