Eat better: To decrease cholesterol for everyone but especially for children is eating better. Fried foods, store bought sweets, fast food is loaded with fat. Sugar can also increase bad cholesterol so have your child eat better. Try to get 5-7 servings of fruits/veggies per day, lean protein (beans, eggs, seeds/nuts/, fish, poultry), and whole grains. Limit junk food to occasional servings.
