Lexapro (escitalopram): Too soon to see full benefits, but if anxiety worsens & interferes with your daily functioning, you can ask your doctor for mild anxiety medication to use as needed & for short period of time.

Patience please: The SSRIs like escitalopram need an effective dosage and then time to begin to have the desired effect.AT 20 mg ou are approaching a dosage that could be helpful, but may need another 2 weeks to even begin to see results. Higher doses maybe needed. But thisisa good medicine and there is a good chance that our patience will be rewarded.
