Variation: Medication outcomes and side effects vary significantly from patient to patient. You may need your dose adjusted, or this may not be the most effective drug for YOU. Tell your doctor of your concerns and discuss best approach.

Depends on the dose: and the pkg of sx's you have. Actually, studies suggest that most antidepressants need 14 to 21 days to start to lift the mood. Sensations felt prior to that are not likely the mood effect, but the drug working its way into your system. Other studies suggests the meds may take up to three months to work. Be patient and discuss this with your MD.
