Losartan is a drug: used to treat hypertension and protect kidneys. Lipitor (atorvastatin) is a drug that lowers LDL cholesterol. Every drug has side effects, but your doctor has determined their benefits exceed the risk of side effects when he prescribed them. High blood pressure is not a side effect of either med. Your doctor/pharmacist has gone over the side effects with you.

No: This combination is quite common and should be safe together. These are used to treat blood pressure (losartan) and high cholesterol (Lipitor), and blood pressure should improve with the addition of Losartan

UNLIKELY: Losartan is a blood pressure medication so it should not be raising your BP, and Lipitor (atorvastatin) is used in combo with this medication a lot. Lipitor (atorvastatin) should not cause high BP either.
