Exercise: Depending on the cause of back pain, exercise may be of benefit. Most chronic back pain in a 21 year old is related to core instability. A regular exercise program can help with stability, but choosing exercises without excessive twisting is wise. You do not have to target the thigh cellulite with squats for improvement, although squats within reason and correctly done may be ok for your back.
