Edema: Likely just a normal response to your infection with some swelling , or edema. Can try elevation, and some light compression to help. Should improve with time.

More info: Is it raised and moveable ? That ma be separate problem like a ganglion cyst but its possible to be more cellulitis in the foot. I would seek treatment.
