Cold sores: Cold sores may develop inside the mouth most commonly but may present almost anywhere on the face, inside or outside of the nose and lips. Cold sores are often referred to as "Fever Blisters". They often present as a cluster of blisters and some people report a "tingling" sensation before they actually appear. Cold sores are of viral origin and are contagious.
