My doctor says there is no "cure" for allergy contact dermatitis. i get facial rashes from pollen, and moisturizers don't work. no steroids, please.

Untrue: The cure is avoidance of the contact allergens. Have you undergone patch skin test to try to find out the cause ( I suspect one of the facial cosmetics may be causing it)? On the other hand, if you have atopic eczema, then there is no cure although the condition can be controlled. However the location of your rash is not consistent with atopic eczema. See allergist or dermatologist.
