A member asked:

How does puberty affect someone's social health?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Puberty: Puberty tends to aggravate social development, ESPECIALLY if the physical and emotional phenomena that go with it are not discussed honestly and openly with adults who listen and do not pathologize or judge. When puberty is not discussed as such, the changes are learned about in an atmosphere of anxiety and ignorance, i.e., out on the street, and often with poor or even disastrous results.
