A member asked:

What health problems are related to the physical changes experienced by teenagers during puberty?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Natural process: Since puberty is a natural process, it doesn't generally cause specific health problems. Moodiness, and if predisposed, certain mental illnesses can be issues. Acne is a common problem, but usually transient and relatively easy to minimize. Boys tend to suffer with Osgood-Schlatter due to rapid bone growth during puberty (although named a 'disease', it truly isn't one). Sleep is very important
