A member asked:

Could exposure to old cat urine cause a chest infection?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Seems unlikely: I'm not sure 'how' you could get exposed to old cat urine, but perhaps if you were sweeping up an area with dust you could have inhaled something. The body does have mechanisms to protect from this sort of thing, but there are other factors such as your age, general health, and whether you smoke or not. Hopefully a doc is on your case -since if you're not getting better, you need proper evaluation
