Hello, 6 years old girl have been through a throat infection , so she took amoxicillin but her urine turned dark (cola colored ) what is the cause ??

Dr. can check today: Dark, cola-colored urine after a strep throat infection means a trip to the doctor today. Strep throat and strep skin infections can cause kidney damage, which is a bad problem sometimes, but is a self-resolving disorder most of the time (resolves over several weeks). The doctor will order blood tests and urine tests, and will keep an eye on the high blood pressure and water retention.
