Varies: In the pre-vaccine era, random bloodwork at college clinics occasionally showed up to 70% of women had evidence of prior infection.Since most strains show no visible signs or symptoms,it is easily acquired and passed by people who don't know they carry it.Hopefully, the vaccine will eventually lead to a decline in prevalence.
