Decreases fertility: Endometriosis makes it take longer to get pregnant due to it causing scar tissue and to chemicals that the endometriosis implants put out. Surgery or treatment with depolupron or taking birth control pills constantly can suppress endometriosis and make it easier to get pregnant. But endometriosis is a chronic condition that will keep coming back until menopause.
