Most likely: Having stage IV endometriosis reduces the chances of conception. There are techniques such as superovulation with intrauterine insemination and in vitro fertilization that will improve your chances greatly. You still have a possibility of conceiving.

Yes..... however...: The more severe the endometriosis, the more likely there can be some scarring of the tubes. As well, just having endometriosis can cause a decrease in fertility. Having said that however, many women with endometriosis successfully get pregnant and have uncomplicated pregnancies. As well, the pain of endometriosis goes away during pregnancy.
