What factors do you need to consider when moving and positioning individuals after they've fainted?

Lying down: Since a true syncopal or fainting spell results in a drop in blood pressure, it is best to have patient supine until things stabilize. But the bigger question in my mind, is the causation issue. Repetitive fainting could be secondary to medication or cardiac issues and should be addressed.
