I have 2 kind of medicine for cholesterol i was wondering if it was the same thing. there name are atorvastatin and lovastatin.?

Similar but not: the same. They are both statins which help to lower your bad cholesterol. Trade names for atorvastain is Lipitor, (atorvastatin) for lovastatin is Mevacor. Both are available in generic versions.
