No: A dose of 16mg is way too much - it is dangerous. The doctor who prescribed needs to work w/ you to find the best plan possible and that may include several components that are not drugs. Please find a safe solution toward the best pain control for you. Some starrt w/ 1mg - 4mg is usual - 8mg is very rare and needs to be monitored for safety. Don't take 16mg!
