Have cystorectocele. urogyn recommends surgery; recovery was @12 weeks. planning trip to israel 7/2/15.if repair done 4/6/15,is it too early to travel?

No: Having done thousands of vaginal repairs and reviewing the literature on postop restrictions, there is little basis for limiting activities for any significant time. I perform all of these surgeries on an outpatient basis with return to work or normal activities whenever a patient feels up to it and that's usually within a week or so. Be sure to see an experienced surgeon for any vaginal repairs.
