No: Having done thousands of vaginal repairs and reviewing the literature on postop restrictions, there is little basis for limiting activities for any significant time. I perform all of these surgeries on an outpatient basis with return to work or normal activities whenever a patient feels up to it and that's usually within a week or so. Be sure to see an experienced surgeon for any vaginal repairs.
