Endometrial biopsy: Post menopausal bleeding is a cause for concern. An endometrial biopsy can help clarify what's happening. I would strongly suggest you work with your doctor and allow this biopsy.

Your options: Thanks for asking, Ann. Your physician may not have explained this in so many words, but you have cancer until proved otherwise. Neglect it for even a few more weeks, and you're greatly increasing your risk of dying. Think about the things you love to do, and the people who love you. Ask about having this done in outpatient surgery if the in-office option for some reason isn't comfortable.
