None: The best prevention against an osteoporotic hip fracture is good bone and avoiding falls( balance).Weight- bearing exersise Is key. So is Ca/ Vit D / Actonel (risedronate) etc. but will not prevent hip fx.Bone densitometry should be done yearly. Or every 6 months for those @ greatest risk ( TAH pts, white females > 70 etc).no 'garment' can prevent hip fxs.and in 21yrs.of pvt practice I've treated hundreds.
