Repeat Urine Culture: If you have had a complicated course you should have your urine rechecked after you complete your antibiotics. You may either need an extended course of antibiotics or further diagnostic work up if your problems persist.

Could be: Resistant organism or an anatomic problem that is causing infections to recur. See a urologist for an opinion.
