UTI: Hematuria (blood in the urine) may be coming from an inflamed bladder since some bacteria causing lower tract infections can do this. Since I don't know if your urine was collected by clean midstream catch the blood may be from the vagina. It should clear rapidly if from UTI, and if it does not you will need further evaluation. Hematuria is never normal. Good luck.
