I have a sharp pain in my thigh. i have been diagnosed with osteoporosis of lumber spine. what is the treatment?

Need more evaluation: Osteoporosis of the spine will not cause the thigh pain. Meds known as bisphosphonates can help the osteoporosis but you should ask your doctor why osteoporosis is present in someone only 40 years of age. See an orthopedist or rheumatologist.
