With osteoporosis at t -3.5 is it possible to get back to being at the osteopenia stage and how long would it take with all the right treatments?

Variable: It is certainly possible with treatment to improve your bone density and t score. Typically medications and weight bearing exercise (i.e. Walking, using light weight) are recommended. The time period for improvement will vary among patients, but a repeat bone density test is usually obtained every 1 - 2 years.

Expectations.: While you can attempt to stop the progression of severe OP through medications, calcium and vitamin D, it's unlikely your bone strength will ever return to normal. At best, your bones may strengthen a little bit, but not back to normal levels.
