Multiple Things: Many sources can result in referred pain to the shoulder blade. Along with the neurogenic sources like cervical (c6 for example) and the suprascapular nerve, we also see many patients with occult shoulder pathology have referred pain to this area. Improper posture: You are straining your back and neck due to bad posture while using your gagdets. Make sure you maintain a good posture while working.. Begin your day with streching exercises. Accomodations like using an ergonomic key board , work station and adjusting the height of your chair and desk will make a significant difference .Take frequent short breaks for stretching and relaxation exercises.
