Diarrhea: try to stay hydrated and use some imodium (loperamide) OTC for symptom relief. This is most likely acute gastroenteritis. eat a B.R.A.T. diet as well. This should pass in a few days. if not improvement then consult your doctor. hope this helps.

Yes: Gastroenteritis is an infection of the gut. It causes diarrhoea and may also cause you to vomit, and have abdominal pain and other symptoms. In most cases the infection clears over several days but sometimes takes longer. The main risk is lack of fluid in the body (dehydration) and you may feel weak. For this reasons I would recommend to see your doctor.
