Make sure they evaluate you for alpha1 antitrypsin deficiency /pulmonary hypertension/pulmonary fibrosis/sarcoidosis . You need a full exam labs CT of chest . PFTS with DLCO AND POTENTIALLY lung bronchoscopy with biopsy. Also moniter your PEF #. GERD can often flare asthma
