A member asked:

What other than a pituitary tumor could cause a noticeable height increase in adults? i noticed a growth spurt around age 38 & then another at 41.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doesn't actually...: Height growth due to increased growth hormone does not happen in adults because their growth plates in their long bones have fused. That means any perceived increase in height would not be related to any presumed or actual pituitary tumor in an adult over age 25 or so.
